House boat is a private boat with bath attached bed rooms, kitchen, dining area and private front deck to capture the beauty of the back waters. The boat moves by an outboard engine of 25 HP (which does not make much noise), enroute viewing villages to see coir making, local tea shops, paddy fields, temples, beaches etc. There will be three crew members in the boat for running the boat, cooking and serving the food.
Cruise will end by around 5.30 pm. From 5:30pm to 8:00am boat will be anchored and it will be idle in the lake (As per GOVT rule, village people have to go for fishing in the lake). Morning cruise from 8:00am to 9:00am.
Night stay at Houseboat Kumarakom (AC operation time is from 9:00pm to 6:00am only).
